METHOD FOR MEASURING THE AMPLITUDE OF AN ANTENNA OUTPUT SIGNAL

The proposed method for measuring the amplitude of an antenna output signal is distinctive by its enhanced sensitivity and implies converting the antenna output signal into a sine alternating-current signal, providing the action of the said alternating-current signal on the reference oscillating circuit via electromagnetic coupling, compensating the self-induction electromotive force in the reference oscillating circuit, converting the signal phase shift into a time interval, digitizing the time interval, and measuring the amplitude of the antenna output signal by the value of the time interval. The present invention provides a possibility to extend the measurement range and increase the reception range of radio signals to be measured.
