PURPOSE: A breakage notifying system for a vehicle is provided to allow a user to rapidly deal when the vehicle is broken by notifying the breakage of the vehicle to the user through transmitting a character message to a cellular phone of the user. CONSTITUTION: A breakage notifying system includes a plurality of sensors(1a,1b,1c,1d,1e,1f,1g,1h) for detecting the breakage of a vehicle and the release of a locking device and a microprocessor(2) for transmitting detected information to a wireless LAN(3) having a mobile communication function. Information transmitted from the wireless LAN(3) is received in a cellular phone terminal(4) of a user as a character message. Breakage information is transmitted from the wireless LAN(3) to the cellular phone terminal(4) through a mobile communication base station(5). |
