PURPOSE: A see-through head mounted display is provided to feel as a large screen by recognizing a size of the image in comparison with a size of image usually experienced and to use the light emitted from a liquid crystal display without loss by utilizing a free shape prism with a dual structure since it is achieved by being designed in such a way that a peripheral region of the displayed region is observed. CONSTITUTION: A see-through head mounted display includes a free shape prism(210), a thickness compensation prism(220) coupled to the free shape prism(210) for compensating a thickness of the free shape prism(210), a complex free shape prism(200) provided with a total reflection coating member(211) coated with a junction between the free shape prism(210) and the thickness compensation prism(220) to a predetermined size and a display device for displaying an image.
