DIESEL DUST FILTER/PLASMA/CATALYTIC SYSTEM TO REMOVE SOOT AND NOX FROM EXHAUST GAS OF DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE: A diesel dust filter/plasma/catalytic system is provided to completely remove soot and NOx from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. CONSTITUTION: A diesel dust filter(10) includes a porous filter, an electrode inserted into the rear part of the porous filter, and another filter covering the porous filter. A plasma reactor(20) is installed at the rear part of the diesel dust filter(10). A catalytic reactor(30) is filled with a catalyzer selected among 1B group metals. A hydrocarbon supply unit is installed at the front part of the plasma reactor(20).
