PURPOSE: A pressing device for cell joining process of an LCD is provided to compensate the horizontality of an upper plate primarily by a ball joint and secondarily compensate the horizontality more precisely by a micro driving part. CONSTITUTION: A pressing device for cell joining process of an LCD includes a lower plate(200) fixed with lower cells at a surface, an upper plate(100) fixed with upper cells at a surface, ball joints(330) mounted to the other surface of the upper plate, and vertical movement elements(310) connected to the ball joint and applied with power from an external power source for moving the upper plate vertically, wherein micro driving part are further provided for the micro controlling of the vertical movement elements and the micro driving parts are piezo actuators(350).
