Heating is by two alternating magnetic fields with variable power, but of the same frequency which are applied along the longitudinal section of the body parallel to the wide surface in mutually perpendicular directions. The direction of one of the fields is reversed in intervals of a half-period. The average intensity of heating at at the ends of the body is thus equal to the heating intensity in the middle giving uniform heating of the body.
|
