<p>The invention relates to a fuel tank (1) for a motor vehicle comprising means for delivering the fuel from the interior of the tank to the engine, means for aerating and ventilating the tank, and a filler tube (2). Said filler tube can be closed on the inlet side and, in the area of its opening into the inside of the tank, i.e. on the outlet side, is provided with at least one valve (10) that tightly closes in the event of a return surge of fuel. The inventive fuel tank is characterized in that at least one second valve (18) is provided inside the filler tube (2), specifically in the outlet side area thereof, and enables the first valve to be bypassed.</p> |
