A supporting device for data-storage optical discs (4) comprises a rest plate (16) with which at least one supporting element (17) arranged to receive an optical disc (4) is associated, an air-sucking unit (18) and connecting holes (20) to communicate the supporting element (17) with the sucking unit (18). The supporting element (17) is comprised of a base (21) and a side wall (22) arranged to support the optical disc (4) and defining, with the optical disc itself (4), a vacuum chamber (23). The vacuum chamber (23) ensures locking of the optical disc (4) on the supporting element (17), while enabling movement of the rest plate (16), and achieves cooling of the disc (4) by an air stream passing through said chamber and licking the optical disc surface. <IMAGE> |
