The building element consists of a static area and an insulation area. The apertures (1) in the insulation area have on average a greater volume than the apertures (2) in the static area and the centre of gravity of the building element does not coincide with its three-dimensional centre point. Thermal insulation such as polystyrene, cork etc is provided in the apertures in the insulation area. The outer wall of the element exposed to weathering takes up practically no dampness and can be glazed.
