The method involves filling a solar system for producing hot water with an ammonia/water solution. The solar system can be loaded with as high an internal pressure as possible of about 0.01 to 20 bars (maximum about 1000 bars). The ammonia/water solution is fed to the input connection of a pressure displacement cylinder with a rack or similar that drives a gear wheel when the pressure in the solar system increases.
