METHOD FOR JUDGING ABNORMALITY OF IGNITION SYSTEM IN ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A method for judging abnormality of an ignition system in an electronic control unit of a vehicle is provided to objectively and accurately judge the abnormality of the ignition system. CONSTITUTION: A method for judging abnormality of an ignition system in an electronic control unit comprises the steps of: connecting a small current probe to a first and a fourth coils(-)(S20); connecting (+) probe of a first channel to the first and the fourth coils(-) and (-) probe to a battery(-)(S30); starting up an engine and applying an electric load(S40); measuring a first current for ignition and off voltage of a power transistor in the state of idling and accelerating over 2000RPM(S50); connecting the small current probe to a second and a third coils(-)(S60); connecting (+) probe of the first channel to the second and the third coils(-) and (-) probe to the battery(-)(S60); measuring the first current for ignition and off voltage of the power transistor in the state of idling and accelerating over 2000RPM(S60); and judging the abnormality of the ignition system by comparing the measured first current for ignition and off voltage of the power transistor with a prescribed value in the normal condition(S70).
