PURPOSE: A sectional magnet is provided to be used as a horseshoe magnet or bar magnet according to its coupling manners, thus improving the convenience of use and storage, and to increase its shock-resistance property. CONSTITUTION: The sectional magnet consists of a U-shaped body(32) that an inserting protrusion(32A) is formed at the one tip end and an inserting groove(32B) is formed at the other tip end; two linear coupling bodies(31) formed with an inserting groove and an inserting protrusion(31A) respectively on their tip ends, corresponding to the inserting protrusion and the inserting groove of the U-shaped body; and a pair of small magnets fixed to the center points of the other tip ends of the linear coupling bodies.
