PURPOSE: A mask code management method is provided to selectively add an access user management function in a game field for offering a pleasant online game environment to game players and reducing a network traffic load. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of giving a proper mask code to a new access user by searching for a guild code, a level and an attribute of the new access user, enabling the user to enter a game field and participate in an online game in a state that the mask code is allocated at the user, receiving variously set information and basic information, for example, a total number of access users, from the game field for constructing a mask code menu appropriate for the characteristics of the online game field, reflecting the received information on the mask code menu, recovering the mask code from the user to leave the online game, and adding the recovered mask code to the mask code menu. The mask code menu can be variously established according to the game characteristics. For example, the game players can be grouped according to the level, sex or age by searching for the level, sex or age in a user data code of the users accessing the game field, and giving the mask code to the accessing users. So it can prevent a game player from being killed unfairly in the online game.
