A rubber roller having a reduced emergence of wound fibers onto the roller surface and an improved wrapping quality. To this end, the rubber roller is characterized in that the Shore A hardness of a rubber composition used for the rubber roller is 68 - 90 and its loss tangent (tan d) at 30 DEG C and 50 DEG C is 0.12 or less and 0.05 or less, respectively.
