The seat has a seat cushion (12) which can pivot around a first point (24) in its forward region between a horizontal position and rearwards and downwards raked rest position. A footrest (20) can pivot around a second point (26) on the forward edge of the seat cushion so that the footrest includes with the seat cushion in its rest position a larger angle than in the sitting position. The seat belt system is formed by a three-point safety belt fitted to the seat.
