A toothbrush holder includes a receptacle (4) and a lid (8) which engages the receptacle (4) and may be removeably attached to the receptacle (4) by hinges (16). The engagement between the receptacle (4) and lid (8) may be a liquid tight seal. The receptacle (4) is designed to hold any of a variety of commercially available, sanitizing or antibacterial agent to sanitize or disinfect toothbrushes in the holder. Possible sanitizing agents include mouthwash and hydrogen peroxide. |
