<p>Apparatus (64), and an associated method (106), by which to display positional data related to one or more mobile stations (12) operable in a cellular or other radio communication system (10). The positional data is displayed at a display device (66) of the selected mobile station (12). The positional data (72) is overlaid upon, or otherwise displayed together with, a map display (74) of an area encompassing the location at which the mobile station (12) is identified to be positioned. A user of the mobile station (12) at which the positional data (72) and map display (74) are displayed is able to ascertain the position of the mobile station merely by viewing the display (66).</p> |
