<p>A retainer (20) for supporting gun parts (105, 110, 115, 120, 125) in an ultrasonic bath (200) is provided with a plurality of supports (60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80) that retain the gun parts (105, 110, 115, 120, 125) in positions whereby cleaning of such parts by ultrasonic means (215) is optimized. The retainer supports (60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80) are specifically configured to maximize the removal of dirt and debris from the gun parts (105, 110, 115, 120, 125) and certain supports (60, 64, 68, 72, 76, 80) are adjustable to accommodate a variety of gun makes and models. The retainer (20) is also constructed to prevent direct contact between gun parts (105, 110, 115, 120, 125), which might otherwise result in unnecessary wearing at such contact locations.</p> |
