The crawler track (4) presents a single continuous belt (14) fitted on its exterior (19) with releasable crawler straps (20). The inner profile (25) of the strap is of metal and cased in rubber or plastics and forms a hollow square profile fitted in the center with a drive boss which is welded to the strap inner profile and/or both cast in steel. The boss is elliptical in profile with curved sides and the strap profile (25) is bored through (23,24) to take screwbolts (22.1,22.2) terminating in a plastics-covered head (32) directly adjoined by a knurled shaft part (33) as press-fit within the bore (23). The bolt passes through the crawler belt (14) to end in thread-shafted (28.1,28.2) nuts (29) on the far side.
