<p>Disclosed is an apparatus for equalizing tensions of main ropes of an elevator suspended and operated by the main ropes. The apparatus has: a container fixed to a base plate; a plurality of suspension members inserted in the container in such a manner as that the suspension members can move up and down in the container while being connected one by one to the main ropes; and a plurality of steel balls contained in the container, so as to uniformly transfer traction forces of the main ropes, which are transferred through the suspension members, to the container. The apparatus can prevent accidents due to fluid leakage while having a relatively simple construction. The apparatus can be easily manufactured, installed and maintained, thereby largely improving workability and productivity.</p> |
