Magnetic resonance spectroscopy method, using 2 re-focusing pulses transmitted with application of corresponding gradient fields between transmission of HF pulse and detection of secondary spin echo

Spectroscopy method uses transmission of HF pulses (101) with simultaneous application of a gradient field (Gz) during corresponding time intervals and transmission of re-focusing pulses (102) with simultaneous application of a second gradient field (Gy) during a corresponding time intervals and detection of the subsequent secondary spin echo (105). A second re-focusing pulse (104) with application of a third gradient field (G) is provided immediately after the first re-focusing pulse, the secondary spin echo detection effected immediately after the second re-focusing pulse. The pulse sequence is repeated with variation of the pulse phases in correspondence with a phase cycle.
