<p>Fuel gas mixture for heating, melting, welding and cutting of metals comprises 1-77 mol.% methyl acetylene and/or propadiene, the remainder comprising methane, ethane, ethylene, propane or propylene separately or in admixture. The gas may be in the form of a liquid mixture contained in vessels designed exclusively for liquid withdrawal and which may be linked to evaporators. The minimum concn. of methyl acetylene and/or propadiene is e.g. 20 mole %.</p> |
