PURPOSE: To provide a rotary cam driving device in which the timing need not be adjusted when the rotary cam is returned to rotation for taking out a formed work from a lower die in a negative angle forming die. CONSTITUTION: This negative angle forming die comprises a rotary cam 5 having an intrusional forming part 4 which is intruded from the locus of the upper die 3 on an edge part close to the supporting part, and rotatably provided on the lower die 1, a slide cam having an intrusional forming part and slidable facing the rotary cam, and an automatic returning tool provided on the lower die to rotate and retract the rotary cam before the work is taken out of the lower die after the forming. A center part of a cam follower arm 52 is fixed to a supporting shaft 11 of the rotary cam of the lower die, one end of the cam follower is connected to a piston rod 57 of a cylinder 51 provided on the lower die, and the other part is abutted on a driver 53 provided on the upper die. The forming posture is held by a vertical part 62b of a cam surface 62 of the driver, and the rotary cam is automatically returned when the cam surface is not brought into contact therewith by the rise of the upper die.
