<p>An air flow structure is provided for controlling the flow of air through an enclosure (12) of a generator (10). The enclosure (12) has first and second opposite ends and the generator (10) includes an alternator (54) and an engine (50) driving the alternator (54). A first air flow generator (58) draws ambient air into the chamber through the first end of the enclosure (12) and directs the first portion of air in the chamber (42a) across the engine (50). A second air flow generator (120) draws a second portion of the air over the alternator (54), and thereafter, combines the first portion of air directed over the engine (50) and the second portion of air drawn over the alternator (54). The second air flow generator (120) urges the combined air from the enclosure (12) through the second end thereof.</p> |
