<p>A reference rectangular wave generator circuit (21) generates a reference rectangular wave, which is then inverted by an inverter circuit (25). Integrators (22, 26) integrate the noninverted and inverted reference rectangle waves to generate a triangular wave. Comparator circuits (23, 27) compare the voltage levels of the triangular wave and the feedback voltage generated by the integrator, and provide control signals for transistors (9, 10). A device for driving a discharge lamp is thus provided without using a circuit for inverting a triangular wave.</p> |
