<p>In post-treatment steps for a liquid reaction mixture obtained by condensing excess phenol with acetone in the presence of an acid catalyst, the step of filtration with a filter is conducted in at least one step between the step of dissolving a bisphenol A/phenol adduct in a phenol solution and the step of crystallizing/separating the adduct from the resultant solution. Thus, high-quality bisphenol A can be efficiently produced which is reduced in the content of heavy substances containing a sulfonic acid and has a satisfactory hue.</p> |
