<p>Management of advertisement data utilizing free storage space existing in a client terminal provides a space reduction and an effective distribution of advertisement data. For this purpose, the advertisement data to be managed by a server are stored in a free space of the storage device of a registered client terminal. When a data transmission/reception is performed via the server, the sever retrieves from the storage device the advertisement data associated with a particular data, attaches the retrieved advertisement data to the particular data and then transmits/receives the advertisement data attached thereto. In this way, the server rents the free storage space of the client terminal, for a low rental cost or the like, to manage the advertisement data, thereby reducing the capacity of the storage device prepared on the sever side so as to provide the space and cost reductions. On the client side, its free storage space is rented to the server, thereby receiving a reward, which can be used to compensate for the communication cost so as to make communication for a reduced cost.</p> |
