MBS METHOD USING TRAFFIC CHANNEL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An MBS(Multimedia Broadcasting Service) method using a traffic channel in a wireless communication system is provided simultaneously use a high-speed broadcasting dedicated channel of a traffic channel and offer a high-speed multimedia service to a plurality of subscribers. CONSTITUTION: If an IP(Information Provider)(18) transmits corresponding multimedia information to an MBS server(19)(601), the MBS server(19) transmits corresponding multimedia information to a PDSN(Packet Data Service Node) of an IP(Internet Protocol) network(602). The PDSN sets a UDP(User Datagram Protocol) and an IP and transmits corresponding multimedia information to a BTS/BSC(Base Transceiver Station/Base Station Controller)(12)(603). If corresponding multimedia information is correctly received, the BTS(12) transmits a response to the PDSN, the MBS server(19), and the IP(18)(605-607). The BTS(12) unidirectionally transmits corresponding multimedia information to an MS(Mobile Station)(11) through an F-FCH(Forward Fundamental CHannel) and an F-SCH(Forward Supplemental CHannel)(604).
