WIRE/WIRELESS TEXT RECOGNITION SYSTEM USING PEN SCANNER

摘要

PURPOSE: A wire/wireless text recognition system using a pen scanner is provided to scan a document in anytime and anywhere and store the scanned image in a file by making a computer, a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) and an IMT(International Mobile Telecommunication)-2000 having a text recognition program recognize the contents of the image transmitted from the pen scanner. CONSTITUTION: The pen scanner(1) scans a partial content of the document. The PDA(2) or IMT-2000 having the image recognition program connects to the pen scanner and recognizes the image scanned by the pen scanner. The computer(3) receives and stores the document file recognized by the PDA or IMT-2000 in the wire/wireless mode and has the recognition program. The pen scanner converts the scanned image into a file by embedding the recognition program within the pen scanner and the converted file is stored in a memory.
