<p>A method capable of manufacturing a thin ring-shaped magnet, especially a sintered magnet having a radial anisotropy with high mass-productivity and yield, a working material capable of improving the strength of the material itself for the ring-shaped magnet to thereby cut the material efficiently. The thin ring-shaped magnet having a high dimensional accuracy can be manufactured with a high yield: by using a cylindrical magnet material, which is prepared by kneading an ultrafine powder-containing liquid-phase material containing ultrafine powder mechanically dispersed homogeneously in fluid paraffin into a molded piece and by sintering the piece to a desired thickness larger than a target thickness, and by bonding and fixing the outer circumferential portion of the cylindrical magnetic material to the inner circumferential surface of either an outer case to become the rotary rotor of a motor or a ring-shaped yoke; by fixing the cylindrical magnetic material in a jig together with the outer case or the ring-shaped yoke and by grinding the inner circumferential surface into the ring-shaped magnetic having a desired internal diameter of the target thickness; and by applying a protecting resin, if necessary, to the face or the like to be ground.</p> |
