This invention relates to compounds which are generally IP receptor antagonists and which are represented by the general formula (I), wherein G1 is selected from the groups a, b1 and b2; (Formula a, b1 and b2) and A and G 2 are as defined in the specification; or individual isomers, racemic or non- racemic mixtures of isomers, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvate s thereof. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds, their use as therapeutic agents, and methods of preparation thereof.
