PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag unfolded in a curtain shape installed on the side of an occupant. SOLUTION: This air bag 10 is formed of a double structure having an inner bag 11 and an outer bag 12 to increase airtightness. The inner bag 11 is formed in a double woven body formed by connecting foundation clothes integrally with each other at a connection part 13 by dobby weaving. The outer bag 12 is formed by seaming outer panels 21 and 22 along the connection part 13 of the inner bag 11. A cover part for increasing airtightness is formed on the surfaces of the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12. Since both the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12 are formed with woven cloth, the air bag 10 can be easily folded compactly. Also, the deformation after bending of both the inner bag 11 and the outer bag 12 can be suppressed by forming these bags with woven clothes. |
