PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument, in which processing fitting the type and state of an external device connected to an output terminal can be performed about the electronic musical instrument provided with a built-in sound source and the output terminal that outputs set information for setting the sound source in a prescribed musical sound generation state, sound production instruction information, etc., that instructs sound production of musical sound, with respect to the sound source to the outside. SOLUTION: This electronic musical instrument is provided with set information storing parts 131 and 132 for setting the sound source in respective prescribed musical sound generation states, and for storing first and second set information the output terminal 151 for outputting first and second pieces of set information to the outside, and a mode-switching part 121 for switching modes between a mode for sending the first set information to the built-in sound source 17 and also sending the second set information to the output terminal 151, and a mode for sending the first set information to both the sound source 17 and the output terminal 151. |
