OPENING/CLOSING BODY STRUCTURE OF CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body structure capable of sufficiently ensuring the rigidity around a latch mechanism in a car of the structure having the latch mechanism at an end of a door. SOLUTION: An opening part in a car body is opened/closed by a hollow door 6 comprising an inner panel 31 and an outer panel 32. A lower latch reinforcement 38 having a longitudinal surface part 38a and a horizontal surface part 38b respectively along a first longitudinal surface part 31a and a horizontal surface part 31b of the inner panel 31 is internally fitted to the door 6, and a lower latch unit 8 is fitted to the inner panel 31 via this lower latch reinforcement 38. A vertical reinforcement 33 having a hat-like cross-sectional shape and extending in the vertical direction is internally fitted to the door 6, and joined with the lower latch reinforcement 38 with the lower latch unit 8 in a surrounding condition.
