PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift device for a vehicle in which a lift does not improperly lower even by occurring of oil leak or the like due to breakage of one portion of an operation hydraulic system of a hydraulic cylinder, and a vehicle receiving plate of a lift does not rotate recklessly. SOLUTION: In right and left vehicle receiving plates, both of two hydraulic cylinders 4a, 4b for lifting one 2 of the vehicle receiving plates constitute double- acting main hydraulic cylinders. Both of two hydraulic cylinders 5a, 5b for lifting the other vehicle receiving plate 3 constitutes a single acting sub-cylinders. An operation oil from an operating supply source is connected to respective primary sides of the main cylinders 4a, 4b to form a primary side hydraulic circuit 11a. Respective secondary sides of the main cylinders 4a, 4b are connected to respective sub-cylinders, 5a, 5b to form the secondary hydraulic circuit 11b.
