PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printing in a proper printing state regardless thickness of right and left portions when a book-shaped medium is spread from a stitching part in a center and without generation of a curve on a sheet of a page to be printed. SOLUTION: The sheet pressurizing surface 4 on which a sheet insertion hole 5 is opened is provided, and a book medium 4 is opened on this sheet pressurizing surface 4 so that the stitching part 2b is located at the center, and that the sheet 2a1 of the page to be printed is inserted into the sheet insertion hole 5. There are also provided a book pressurizing means 10 pressing the book-shaped medium 2 on the surface 4 side, a printing page positioning means 40 which positions the sheet 2a1 of the page to be printed to a predetermined position with a pair of sheet ironing rollers 42a and 42b, and a printing head means 18 having a pair of a right and left printing head parts set on both sides of the sheet 2a1 of the pages to be printed.
