PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new mental arithmetic training system enabling appropriate and efficient mental arithmetic learning by distinguishing learning levels suitable for each abacus beads movement learning or image forming according to the age or learning status of a learner. SOLUTION: When training abacus-type mental addition and subtraction in the mental arithmetic training system, learning elements in a primary stage of mental arithmetic learning are subdivided and described by the matrix 1 combining a plurality of bead-moving learning steps in which adding/subtraction is classified according to basic elements of bead-moving with a plurality of image-formation steps aiming at strengthening image-formation of an abacus. The status of learning is shown on the matrix so that the learner, learner's parents, an instructors, etc., can objectively recognize and share the learning status.
