PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device where faulty fixation such as offset is not caused in various kinds of transfer material whatever quality it has without making the carrying speed of the transfer material low even in the case of thermal pressuring fixation in image formation using almost spherical and small particle size toner or the fixing roller of which is completely cleaned, and to provide a cleaning method for the fixing device, an image forming device equipped with the fixing device and an image forming method therefor. SOLUTION: The width of a nip formed by the fixing roller and the pressure roller of the fixing device is set to 7 to 13 mm. A cleaning web for cleaning the fixing roller is produced of a fiber whose diameter is <=2 denier and its METSUKE (unit) weight is 20 to 35 g/m<2> .
