PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift device having a wrong operation preventive function capable of preventing wrong operations of a shift lever. SOLUTION: An exciting current to be the same polarity as a permanent magnet 23 is output to electromagnets 25N, 25R, 25P from a control part 33 according to the detection signal from a magnetic sensor 26D, when the shift lever is set at a 'D' range and the control part 33 determines that a vehicle is in the middle of travelling at higher than specified speed (for example, 2 km/h) according to the detection signal from a speed sensor 31. Consequently, repulsive force is generated between the permanent magnet 23 and the electromagnets 25N, 25R, 25P. As a result, even if operation of the shift lever to an N range, an R range or a P is attempted, it becomes harder to shift to these ranges due to the resistance from the repulsive force. |
