PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially easy method for producing a high-purity N,N'-diacylhomocystine. SOLUTION: This method for producing the high-purity homocystine derivative is characterized by adding an acid to a basic solution of the N,N'- diacylhomocystine and depositing the N,N'-diacylhomocystine under conditions so that the final pH value is within the range of 1-5.
