PURPOSE: An illuminating system of LCD projector is provided to improve optical efficiency by reducing width of light by extending path of light to an LCD display surface without increasing thickness of the system. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a lamp(40) generating light; a parabolic reflector(42) reflecting the light generated by the lamp and placed in a way that the lamp is placed separating from a focus of the parabolic reflector to make the light from the parabolic reflector focuses; at least three light path changing devices changing light path of the light generated by the lamp; and at least one lens(55) on at least one of the light path changing devices to convert the light coming from the light path changing devices into a parallel beam. |
