PURPOSE: A structure for opening and closing control box of indoor unit of room air conditioner is provided to simply check controlling condition without releasing screws coupling the control box. CONSTITUTION: A structure includes a control box(3) having a pair of fixing hinge parts(10) extending and protruding on a contacting surface joined to a rear cover(1) and fixing protrusions(11) protruded on both sides of the fixing hinge parts; and the rear cover having a plurality of holes(12) formed correspondingly with a pair of the fixing hinge parts so that the fixing hinge parts are inserted thereto.
