POSITION MEASURING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable position measurement to be performed by a simple, small- sized and inexpensive system. SOLUTION: A main control part 131 saves remote data in which a timing tug for collation is added to detection data obtained from a pre-decode in a buffer memory. At this time, the main control part 131 saves master data received through a portable telephone 140 as well in the buffer memory. The main control part 131 compares the time tug of the master data with the time tug of the remote data, and at the stage where the master data and the remote data of the same time are gathered, the GPS data of these data is output as a pair of data to a coordinates calculating part 137. The coordinates calculating part 137 decodes both GPS data of the master data and the remote data to make position measurement according to an RTK method.
