TORQUE SENSOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor capable of canceling the fluctuation of magnetic property of a annular holder that holds a detecting coil and obtaining stable output characteristics, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A first detecting cylinder 11 rotating together with a first shaft 1 and a second detecting cylinder 21 rotating together with a second shaft 2 are installed at connection regions of the first shaft 1 and the second shaft 2 which are connected through a torsion bar 3, and a detecting coil 4 is disposed so as to surround the outside of the butted section. The annular holder with a channel shape in cross-section 5 which holds the detecting coil 4, is constructed so that the direction of fiber flows affecting the magnetic property coincides the direction of a magnetic circuit generated in energizing the detecting coil 4.
