PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the space above a cooling storage box. SOLUTION: The body 7 of the cooling storage box 1 is constituted of a front-open insulating box 3. The inside of a storage compartment 8 which is constructed in the insulating box, is cooled by a cooler 12. Refrigerant is circulated to the cooler 12 from a separately provided refrigerator 18 having a compressor 19 and a condenser 21 both of which constitute a refrigerating circuit of the cooling system together with the cooler 12. The top surface of the body is rendered to serve as a placing surface 26 on which things can be placed.
