PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reductively fire glazed bodies W by using an electric furnace 20. SOLUTION: The bodies W and a reducing agent R are accommodated in the electric furnace 20 in a casing 10, and then an electric current is supplied to the electric furnace 20 so as to dehydrate the bodies W. Thereafter, the bodies W are oxidatively fired wile driving a vacuum pump 31 for exhausting the inside of the casing 10, and further after stopping the vacuum pump 31, the bodies W are subjected to reductive firing for glost firing the bodies W.
