PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder with a load detecting mechanism which can be installed in a narrower place without integral displacement of a load detection portion with a piston rod, by integrally arranging a cylinder portion under a load detection portion through a connecting arm. SOLUTION: This cylinder with load detecting mechanism comprises a cylinder portion 26 driven by action of a pressure fluid; the load detection portion 24 for converting a load of the load body 22 into a fluid pressure, and the cylinder potion 26 is integrally connected to the lower part of the load detecting portion 24 through the connecting arm 25.
