PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type cable takeup device allowing the cable ends to be movable and capable of being accommodated in a casing. SOLUTION: The non-contact type cable takeup device to take up cables connecting apparatuses with one another and accommodate in a case includes a plurality of takeup device units 7 laid one over another in such an arrangement that the cables are wound round upon being partitioned into a movable side cable 20/37 and a stationary side cable 21/28 and that the movable side cable 20/37 is pulled out and connected with the apparatus, and the stationary side cables 21/28 of the takeup device units 7/8 laid one over another are connected by one cable, and the units 7/8 can be operated independently.
