PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container and a package for microwave oven by which a body to be heated by a microwave oven can be thawed and/or heated under an optimal state. SOLUTION: For this container for microwave oven, a housing section 10 which houses a body to be heated is formed of a bottom section 14 and a side section 15. In such a container for microwave oven, the housing section forms a recess-form body having the bottom section and at least one side section. Then, at least at one section in an intermediate area between the bottom section and the side section, protruding sections 17 and 18 which can support the body to be heated are arranged. A step section may be provided at least at one section of the protruding sections. The container may be constituted in such a manner that at least one protuberance 19 is provided on the bottom section of the housing section, and the protuberance and the protruding sections are discontinuous. Also, this package for microwave oven which is equipped with the containers for microwave oven as at least one section of the constituent elements is provided as well. |
