PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform display unit, capable of reducing overlapping of character strings, in the case that a plurality of marks are prepared in a narrow range and modifying the overlapped order of the character strings in the case that the character strings are overlapped. SOLUTION: In the waveform display unit composed so as to combine, integrate and display a line instructing positions on time axis and the character strings related to a display waveform at an arbitrary position along the time axis of the display waveform of a display screen displaying a measured waveform, the position of the character strings can be selected to lines arbitrarily.
